Looking Forward To Myrine in Spring

The new Myrine clothing collection is always eagerly anticipated by both our customers and ourselves. So to give you a taster, we have put together a short video to preview the new Spring Summer Myrine clothing collection. Due in at the end of January 2013, we anticipate having it available online early February.

The Antwerp-based Myrine Spring collection offers a slight departure from the norm this season. The collection includes some beautiful floral prints in vivid pinks or soft silvery greys. There are also some vivid acid coloured layering pieces which can be worn with either with the floral prints or black tunics for a really eyecatching style.

It Takes Two ... Party Dresses

We were searching high and low some great party dresses to create a festive window for our offline shop, The Terrace in Lyme Regis, and found a new, exciting designer who has just launched her first collection this Autumn Winter 2012.

Naomi Tsukishima worked at French Connection as a fashion designer and has now gone solo. Her style is sleek, edgy and stylish and she uses beautiful contemporary shaping and cuts. We fell in love with her collection, so her creations now stars in our Party Dress window.

We chose two totally contrasting dress styles for two different party occasions. One is a sleek dark navy cocktail dress with elaborate beadwork on the cap sleeves and a zip detail up the entire middle of the back. This is an elegant dress which contours the body shape and combined with a pair of slick heels is quite simply stunning.

The other is a cream floaty ruffle dress which is ultra feminine with diaphonous detailing. It is a tiered dress with pleats and beadwork above the bustline. This can either be worn as a short dress or combined as we have with a pair of leggings like the Naomi Tsukishima leather-look stretch leggings.

We hope to be running more of the Naomi Tsukishima range in 2013 to add to our growing range of women's clothing and accessories.

New Romantics

This Autumn/Winter's clothing collection by Danish fashion label, Cream, oozes feminine romance and we think it is their best collection yet. Cream Clothing can be worn both simply or layered to give a more timeless bohemian style. But whatever your look, it is all about the details this season with ruffles, lace, bows, lace, ribbons and embroidery.

Loveithaveit.com has expanded its range significantly, to include not only clothing but also some of Cream's fabulous accessories including leather and suede boots, long socks, belts and scarves. In the Cream clothing range we have selected dresses, cardigans, tops, leggings, blouses and ponchos. We particularly love the little ponchos such as the MARIA (second picture) which can either be teamed up with pretty lace dresses such as the SOIA or with jeans and simple tops such as the AISHA.

Scarves: The would be king of fashion accessories!

The humble scarf has come a long way from its functional origins. Today, it is becoming one of the kings of fashion accessories. This simple addition twirled, twisted, knotted or wrapped can take a simple outfit to another level. The scarf has almost become as iconic as a great bag or piece of statement fashion jewellery.

This winter 2012 will be big for scarves including the snoods, but scarves are now an all-year-round wardrobe accessory. From beautiful, colourful summer prints to neutral wraps, there is a vast array to choose from.

Many women talk about being bag or shoe fanatics, but there is now a growing number of scarf lovers who enjoy playing with the different ways to style and tie them around the neck, head or bag.

Scarves were first seen in Italy and originally carried to mop the brows of men working in the heat. They were called sudarium, which translates as sweat cloth. The transition into something more refined came in the 1800s when certain well know fashion houses took this rag and turned it into something of beauty, the best known being Hermes.

The next transition came when cheaper fabrics came onto the market, allowing scarves not just to be the preserve of the wealthy.

The scarf is a sign of the times reflecting social mood, so in the 1960s you had colourful prints, whereas in the war years the scarves were more understated.

Lots of new accessories are coming in weekly including necklaces, bracelets, earrings, shoes and sandals and our collection of scarves at www.loveithaveit.com.

At last ... colourful, fun shoe designs at affordable prices

It's easy to find plenty of stockists of cheap shoes on the high street, but if you want something that is a bit quirky and different, you tend have look at higher price tags like Irregular Choice and Poetic Licence. So we were delighted when we found Ruby Shoo and it seems that our customers have been too! Great designs but with great prices starting at £34.95 up to £49.95, the Ruby Shoo collection is in its infancy with a small selection this year but likely to expand over the coming years.

We love the Spring Summer 2012's collection which include the wedge platform Hayward shoes with a cheeky peeptoe and the Loren wedge sandal. There's also the elegant Bancroft with a kitten heel and perfect for special occasions and wedding receptions.

More stock coming in early June 2012.

Big & Bold: Scarf Print Trend

The classic silk scarf has been pulled from the 80s closet and brought back to life again, making it one of this year's fashion must-haves.

The scarf print trend is big for Spring Summer 2012 and is a fun and glam take on the classic silk scarf prints by Hermes and others. It was all over the catwalks, led by D&G, Versace, Carven and DKNY with bold prints turned into amazing tunics, dresses and trousers.

Loveithaveit.com's limited edition Critical Mass fashion collection has two scarf print collections: Jewels and Equestrian, both of which use striking prints on beautiful fabrics.  See the collection at here.

Winter Dreams with Desigual

There is something fantastical about Desigual's fashion collections and the new 2011 Autumn Winter Desigual Dream collection on www.loveithaveit.com is no exception. Our first few styles have arrived with more due in September.

Desigual breaks the mold but Spain has always had its own distinctive fashion sense and that's why so many Spanish fashion labels appeal to us at loveithaveit. Whilst there is a very traditional side to Spain, traditional Spanish dress has always been flamboyant and colourful, reflecting the passionate Spanish culture.

Since the 16th century Spain has been known for its fashion and elegance. The fabrics used for making traditional clothes were rich and heavy with embellishments in metallic threads and jewels. The Moorish culture was also a heavy influence, using rich embroidery and beadwork.

Modern day Spain is known for its modern art, cutting edge architectural designs and daring fashion labels. And Desigual fits into this with its strong modern identity, edgy design and aspirational appeal.

Loveithaveit took on the Desigual brand just as it was emerging in the UK and was one of the first to sell it online. It has grown from a brand that a well kept secret to one with a large international following. New Hultquist Jewellery To Treasure

There are some pieces of jewellery that you wear again and again and  you just never tire of them. For me, a few of my favourite pieces are from the Hultquist jewellery collection. Somehow, they seem timeless and unlike much of the fashion jewellery about these days, I know it will last more than two outings!

This summer's new Hultquist collection on www.loveithaveit.com is no exception. Whilst it picks up on some of the 2011 summer fashion jewellery trends, the pieces are both feminine and enduring.

Natural inspirations such as leaves, seeds, shells, pods, sea creatures and bugs along with ethnic look materials such as natural beads and semi-precious stones are all used in this beautiful and original collection. The Hultquist jewellery is silver or gold plate which is often worked to give it a look of antiquity.

Loveithaveit.com has a selection of jewellery carefully chosen from three Hultquist ranges including Relic, Bohemian Journey and Sea Treasures. Bracelets and necklaces can be mixed and matched from the collections, all complementing each other.

Established in 1980, Anne Hultquist and her team are now based in a workshop in Copenhagen where their beautiful jewellery is handmade. Her feminine and bohemian fashion jewellery is influenced by the classical Scandinavian look, which aims to express individualism and style, jewellery that is inspired by the wonderful mixture of different cultures from past, present and future.

Boho Chic!

We love these new pendant scarves that add a touch of bohemia to your summer wardrobe.

They look fantastic either with a simple tunic or kaftan, or with a layered outfit. Each fabric scarf has a different pendant in the middle and at the ends and can be worn in a number of different ways.

The scarves come in 7 colours including: black, charcoal grey, jade green, bottle green, royal blue, pale blue and purple.

Great for day or informal eveningwear and the darker colours will be good for winter too.

At £15.95 the scarves also make great presents for friends, as we have been told by many of our shop customers.
